Amazing excursion in Casamance
We stayed with Laurent and Fanta au Papayer Ecolodge in November 2018. Our stay was amazing ! Laurent and his team know the area very well. Laurent and Assan took us by 4x4 for an incredible day at Mlomp and Pointe Saint-Georges. This day trip was definitely the highlight of our stay in Casamance. I strongly recommend staying with them if you visit Casamance and want to know more than Skirring (there is much more to learn in the area !). Apart from that, Laurent, Fanta and Assan are so nice and interesting to know ! And Fanta is an excellent cook ! We could not have enjoyed Casamance without their company ! Read review

Paradise by the sea in Cap Skirring
I loved spending three weeks at The Papayer Ecolodge, this is the perfect place for those who, like me, seek peace and quiet. That said, the village of Cap Skirring is seven kilometers away and I did not fail to go there every time I felt the need for a little animation, or to shop at the market. The camp is a hundred meters from the beach, which is almost deserted, while behind there are rice fields and a small forest full of birds of all kinds, and I could observe them easily with the binoculars that I have had the good idea to take a trip... A wild place full of charm in Cap Skirring
I had a great stay at The Papayer Ecolodge, a wild place, without being isolated from the world : the beach is two steps, the rice fields (not a mosquito, in this season), and even the forest not far, all close to the village from Cap Skirring. Since I like to paint, i was able to dedicate myself to my passion, in full freedom. Laurent's team was very attentive without being overbearing (the fish caught that morning were deliciously cooked by Fanta), and I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature by the ocean.
